If there is one thing that has really begun to annoy me over the last year or so is talking with people and they ask me what fat burner to use. Now I have two routes I usually take this conversation into. First one is if you have been working out and doing your thing for some time and have made it a part of your life on a regular basis, I will give you my opinion on a couple different brands of a fat burner to take if you choose. My second route is for the newbies in the fitness world and think the first supplement they should buy is a fat burner. I straight up tell them don't wast their hard earned money on a fat burner right now because when you really dig deep into that particular persons life, all they need is a change in their diet.
I know it sounds crazy, but I really wish people would pay attention to what they eat instead of trying to take a magic pill to "get ripped". I am not saying completely avoid them because I just recently came off of taking one. If your interested in which one I took, it was called Super HD by Cellucor. What people need to realize is that fat burners are there to do just what the bigger name implies, supplement your DIET. I did see results from the HD when I was taking it because I had a constructed diet plan that had clean healthy food. Combine that with a little bit of cardio and you have a formula to start changing the way your body looks.
In the end, make changes in your diet and it will be the best fat burner you could ever ask for. Your body will love you for it and you will love you for it because you will feel great all the time. If you do choose to use a fat burner just be smart about it and realize that it is just there to help you supplement your diet.
I will share my top 3 personal picks about which fat burners are really worth the hype :)
(My personal favorite. Warning on it though, they come in "packs" and is 9 pills a "pack")
(Just got done using this, pretty good product)
(I have not used this yet, but really want to try it. Plus its such cool packaging haha!)
Hi Jose! Welcome to the blogging world :)
ReplyDeleteOne of my biggest pet peeves as a runner is people who think they can eat whatever they want because they're running - then complain when they don't get the results they want. A healthy diet is so important and cannot be underestimated. You can't run off the calorie equivalent of yogurt and some granola and think you've earned yourself a great big muffin! That's not how it works!
I'll have to give Sean your blog address, I think he'd really enjoy reading along. Keep up the awesome work! It's inspiring!
Thanks for the welcome! Yeah I used to do the whole justifying thing with "well I had a really hardcore workout, I can have a piece of cake" but it gets you no where if you have a particular goal. Hope both you and Sean enjoy my future posts :)
DeleteOh yes, diet is definitely a HUGE factor. I know this because I am having a hard time eating healthy. What do you eat to keep you from going on a crazy binge after you workout? I've just started doing 2 a days a couple days a week and by the time I'm done I am ravenous! Great blog so far!

What I do after my workouts to help me from binging is to have a positive mind set and know that the food I am going to put in me is going to help me towards my goals. So having that chicken or steak with a sweet potato for example is going to help me take one step closer to my goal rather than having say a slice of pizza or greasy burger which is going to take me one step back. Hope that helps :)
DeleteProtein Shakes have always been key to me. I have an undying love of chocolate, and chocolate protein helped with that craving. That and herbs. Eating a can of plain tuna to get your protein in can be pretty awful, but tossing in some fresh Italian herbs or tarragon makes it good and there for satisfying, at least for me.
